Doing Something Else

If we don’t like what we’re doing in life right now, as it’s generally at, we can just as easily commence planning for a time when we’re no longer doing that which we don’t like now.

This is the bolt of reality right now, as I listen to Cat Stevens’ Peace Train, with a broad smile over my face. Joy contains me, as it usually does these days, and yet it might be distant from you. Still, I do recall a time when I wasn’t enjoying things so much.

Sometimes it takes a while for us to re-engineer our lives.

At times it’s the circumstances that need to be changed; perhaps it’s the people around us who also need time to adjust, as well as the things we do to prepare ourselves—including studies or the experience we get that we need under our belts.

Identity makeovers toward following our God-paced vision for life are truly blessed activities—but we will require copious portions of courage, patience, humility, wisdom and resilience along the way.

One day at a time is our method and truly the best of times are still to come!

At the end of the day, we are becoming more every day who we are bound to become with our vision firmly in mind, and believed in our heart.
