Many, many people in this world settle for a life that’s altogether ‘not them’ because they have seemingly no choice. A good many others create their own problems by virtue of silly decisions strung together.

We hardly ever account, however, for the fact that at any point we can begin designing the life that’s more “us” at any time.

All this takes is some time out to conjure up what we think our best is and then have the courage to implement it. Of course, the wise life is the long-term view so we’re best to invest for results later. Yes, it’s not too bizarre a thought that you’ll be living your life still in five years time—living now and paying later doesn’t make sense from that perspective.

Designing our lives is about happiness and contentment and fulfilment now and in the future. Whilst we “fit” ourselves to our present circumstances we’re preparing for that thunderous day when our designed life reaches fruition.

We can hence be entirely content now and at that future time.
