“If you want to succeed, you must make your own opportunities as you go.”
~John B. Gough.
We’re generally the only ones in our own way. There is hardly any more of a delimiting thought than this. When we learn to step out of the way of ourselves, our careers, our spiritual growth, our lives, we’ll finally have the key to opening up on that new life we’ve always imagined living.
In this is generally no limit. Of course, there are the logistical issues that prove vexing—things we have to understand about life and the nature of barriers. Not everything will go our way—not even half.
But, if we can only start to see the positives, the opportunities, the value and life from the ‘appreciative’ viewpoint, things will get better. Things can then begin to change overnight!
Stay optimistic. Disregarding shallow days let’s be upbeat no matter what.
