Relax the Body – Steel the Mind

My first waking thought was, stiff-necked, a creaky back, and the trough of “not another day like this!” Or, so I thought. The moment’s inspiration had me quickly outside—almost without notion, as if carried by the Spirit. On my bike I went; then a light five-minute jog; and then some stretches. Suddenly, my mind was awakened—all in the space of 20 minutes.

Possibilities are opened to the mind when the body is relaxed. The spirit is able to soar.

Life was meant to flow.

If we harbour anxieties and stubborn depressions, the situation’s freedom may hover within grasp at the loosening of the body.
