At times it’s a hard lesson. Pride resists what we can fundamentally learn.
And we do, eventually. What comes easy for some comes harder for us, just as those things that seem simple personally, perplex others less fortunate—we’re all beset with our own flair and flaws.
Honesty is the priceless trump informing all virtue. It presents us with power, swimming through any hoaxes we’ve bought previously. Honesty is courage, depth, insight, faithfulness, goodness, fairness and humility all rolled into one.
Perhaps most of all it is respect; further honed—self-respect.
