How is it that before salvation we saw nothing to be thankful to God about, yet afterwards we couldn’t thank him enough, and all we can ‘settle for’ now is praise?
This God that reached down — stooped no less — and redeemed us... nothing but a praiseworthy thankfulness can we remit unto the Lord of glory.
This is the biggest change in our newfound personas; praise’s taken the place of resentment.
And that’s the summation of our present state. Thankfulness begetting praise has become us, though we’re prone to forgetting.
Let’s not backslide into resentment — for anything.
Go on in praise; a praise worthy of God and worthy of our New-to-Life status.
For we have a part in the Kingdom.
